Just raced a new Eclipse V6
I was driving home from work about 20 minutes ago, I pull up to a light and two guys in an Eclipse V6 which I found out have a 210 HP engine. The guy was like do you wanna race? I said ok. We took off and he had me the whole time by about 2.5 car lengths. Then at the next light I figured he was going to dis me or say how slow I was but he was like wow that thing is quick for a 4 cyl. I was just shocked to see that I only lost by a few car lengths to a car with almost 100 hp more than me. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Sure np. Not everyone can do this because you need to know at least one friend to make this work. Friend in one car, you in the other. Race. Switch places, race again. Compare times.

Some people will suprise you, Two guys pulled up next to me in an old 77 chevy with a 405 block or something, and wanted to race me, i was down. He beat me, and then he was all d@mn, i thought i was going to murder you, what you gont in there a v6? (some domestic drivers have no idea how quick a four banger can be i guess). I answered, nope 4 cylnder vtec. Then the guy was like aw thats why, you got vtec. I smirked and thought, i guess that 12 horsepower boost really does make a huge difference [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
I sure wish my car was newer

Rep Power: 365 Thank you for not posting some bs story. I read the title and thought you were gonna say you smoked him by 13.4 car lengths w/o n2o. As long as everyone is humble, everything is okay. Street racing is dumb though.
