uh...just because the engine isn't the same yr as your car doesn't mean you cant do the engine swap
and I doubt you going to find the new accord engine anytime soon....[hr]

Why does he want to do that? Does he have the v6 engine already?[hr]

Well if he had that kind of money to do a swap and wants a faster car, maybe he should think about trading it in? I mean if you ever find a k24, I'm sure it will be an expensive *** swap. If he wants to be fast, maybe he should look into turbo or maybe nitrous? Maybe even a new car?
Swap the CL Type S engine. 260HP with a 6-speed. Does 13s. Might be an SOHC but that's one hell of an SOHC.
EDIT: If he's willing to do an engine swap, why doesn't he just simply buy a new manual transmission? The Accord engine have something a lot of other Honda engines lack, and that is TORQUE. I raced a V6 Accord on the freeway... to say the least, I got left by 2 eighteen wheeler lengths. (Too many cars lengths to estimate.) Keep the engine IMO.

I agree with Boilermaker. Comptech makes some sweet products I hear. I think there was a supercharged V6 accord in Sport compact car that made around 300 hp. Could've been a different mag. I think the car was purple. Plus it'll be easier and less expensive than a complicated swap. Its the path I would choose in that situation.
