A tragic Story
Below is a post from a rx7 fourm. It is one of the saddest things I have ever read before, and I feel read bad for the kid. Next time you decide to speed, street race and hot dog your car, remember this story. Life is too short.....

Wow, ouch. Damn, now that would suck. Yeah, I had sort of a close call a while back. Ever since I haven't been pushing the car all that much when I can't see the terrain ahead of me. You never know what'll be there. Even if you know the road.
i one the other hand, offer no condolences nor any sympathy. my father was killed a week ago by an idiot driving fast. he drove all the time at the speed limit, wore his belt, etc. (did everything "by the book"). the other speeding driver(s) were, for the most part, unhurt. my father did not deserve to die.
if you decide to joy ride like that kid and his father, you take into account that you could loose control and die. sure most people dont want to admit it, but thats the truth.
edit: and the truth hurts...if youre a whiny little bitch.

LikeWEEEEEEEEEE, anytime anyone dies it is a trajedy. We are all sorry that your dad died in a car accident, but the kid's dad in the RX-7 didn't kill your dad. That's fine if you wanna be mad at the guy who did kill your dad but don't discount anyone else's death.
And don't even act like you have never gone 1mph over the speed limit or had fun while driving. So don't be so cold because you have just realized that life ends.

i know the cycle of life. if you say every time someone dies its a trajedy, then you would obviously pardon bin-laden for what he did if you had the chance to kill him.

LikeWeee- Please take into account that they weren't racing on public roads or endangering other drivers. He may have endagered his life or his son's, but the boy's family still has my condolences. He said he had to run 400 metres to the nearest house and it was around 2 a.m. so I'm guessing there weren't any other cars at that time seeing how it was a single car accident. Your father's death is unfortunate and makes me wonder why some people that smoke 2 packs a day don't die while healthy good law abiding people do. Life's not fair, I guess we take it and move on.

IF WE HAD A TRACK.
The government should sponsor to have tracks built so that we won't have to race on the streets. I would pay to race at the track but someone has to build it.

Have ya'll ever heard or RASR? Racers Against Street Racing?
They should build tracks if they want to stop street racing.......until then I'll be sticking to my usual quiet racing roads.

I said it once, and I'll say it again. There would be NO street racing if there were more legal means to race. By legal means I mean more tracks, courses, routes, for people to drive. I mean think about how many people drive a car. A large group of people would want to drive for fun. Where I live, the nearest track is like 3 hours! Not everyone wants to drive 3 hours every time they want to race legally. I mean most people that street race drive down to roads that are not used, near industrial buildings where there's no popo and other cars. All we need is a few lanes of 1/4 mile length and we'll all be happy! The way things work now, if I want to race legally I gotta drive 3 hours up to Shannonville and than maybe a good day get like 3 runs in!! Than drive 3 hours back to home lol. Does that sound enjoyable?

the govermennt is too worried about drug war. they spend billions of dollars on somthing they will never be able to stop. if they stoped busting people with pot, and legalized it, then there would be plenty of money to build tracks.
the moral of this post is:
humans are not perfect. sure you can practice tolerance, but at what point do you not?
ok that waas really sad. They should start making like tracks every 15 miles apart if they dont want street racing. All the bs they spend on trying to make drugs go away is not going to help. I mean i race more than I smoke. I mean I dont know about some of the people on this site but I like getting blazed up smoking a phat azz joint every now and then. Does anyone on hear actually smoke???

his death would be a trajedy? now thats funny. ok now by your logic, it would be wrong to drop an atomic weapon on the japanese after they bombed pearl harbor. hell, if your logic was the way it is, i guess that we would lose EVERY war we have ever been involved in, because we were practicing tolerance by not killing the enemy. not only that, this nation would turn into a big pile of **** because we could never fight back (seeing as how we have to practice tolerance).

It is wrong to drop an atomic bomb........2 wrongs don't make a right. Killing the civilians of Japan who didn't even bomb Pearl Harbor is wrong. The US took out their rage on Japanese Civilians just like you are taking the death of your father out on that kid and his dad in the RX-7.
If the US would keep to their own business instead of trying to be the world's police we wouldn't have any wars to be involved in. We jump into all of the wars, they don't attack us.
This nation is a big pile of sh*t, especially with **** cow thinkers like you.

and who are you to say the army is not "innocent"? i dont believe that the u.s. was engaged in active fighting against the japanese IN pearl harbor. they were just grouped together on ships, not firing on anything.
take your hippy bullshit and leave.
we go to war when not directly attacked because someone is challenging ideals. take nam for example. we got involved to stop the spread of communism.
dont compare me to a ****. if this was real life, youd be sucking your food through a straw for saying that to my face.
