I've always heard that redlining and revving the engine hard is bad for a car do i dont' beat on mine too much. I usually shift around 3500-4000 rpms, but maybe once a day i'll rev it all the way up and pretend to feel the vtec kicking in
I didn't buy vtec so I could shift before it kicks in.
I don't really care if reving the **** out of it hurts the engine. I really don't plan on keeping the car that long to find out. All I care about is having fun and going fast.

our honda engines are made for driving fast and revving high

Granda cars are in better condition mostly due to low mileage. Of course, that only refers to the cars that don't get into fender benders because the old bags can see more than 10 feet in front of them and have the reaction times of sloths. Quote
