you will have to buy a whole new tranny and clutch i guess. then call around to some mechanics and ask how much it will be to put it all in.

Correct me if im wrong
but doesn't doing that cost ALOT of money and work? wouldn't it be better just to trade in for a manual?

It's possible but not recommended. Very pricey. You will need to do some modding in the interior as well. You might also want a gauge cluster to take those damn things off and that'll put you into inaccurate mileage and screw your resale value.

Can be done, but will be much easier and prolly cost the same to trade the auto in for a stick. You also won't be without a car for the time it takes to do the swap. It has been estimated that it would be about $3000 to do the full swap. Search around... this has been talked about before.

in your case, with your car being a 2001 it would just be easier to trade the car in for a manual, u will lose a little bit of money, but in the long run it would be cheaper that an entire tranny swap.

i was thinkin of this too, but trashed the idea.. im only 17 so i cant go trade in by myself. and i already have like 17k miles on my car. so im ganna just stick with the fact that i have an auto, unless i do a engine swap sometime in the future (not likely though )
