This think is suppose to have a turbo charged 2.0 with 210hp and 245lbs of torque. Factory 18" rims.

Is it just me or is honda about the only manufacturer that has not done forced induction on there cars? Honda really needs to get with it on the civic. It seems to be virtually the slowest car in it's class.

It's tuned by Cosworth so it might be a little better.

I think what most people look at is the ford name not the car. If this was a new Civic si people would be all over it. I hate to admit it but ford had a good idea with this and I think it will be a big hit. Since ford is really popular with the rally sport cars this car is what they needed. In my opinion it is nice looking car.

Joe is the man at least he don't hate just because its a ford and well...is better than the civic is in performance. The day I drove my old 2001 civic off the lot the gas tank lid wouldn't open, the next week the tranny went out, the the cv joint busted all within a month...Now on my svt focus I have had no problems with it.

That car is also much better than the EP Civic Type R. (The Cosworth Focus.) I wouldn't be afraid to try that car.

i dont think its ugly at all. its got nice lines. i wonder if cosworth is only modding the hatch or if they got a sedan version in the works also.
but i would definately not mind driving one of these.

view of the interior.

I think the Focus RS looks better... and not much difference between the two, except AWD

OH MY GOD, what the hell is HONDA doing right about now? i have to agree, Honda are taking their customers for granted and all they care for are sales, not even customer satisfaction.
HONDA will someday realize when consumers start to flip on the other side, and loose their sales, by that time it would be all too late.
FORD is doing an excellent job, improving their cars, i think the interior is bomb as hell and the exterior looks pretty decent.

I've said before and I'll say it again HONDA America dosen't give a sh@t. They don't care about performance, look at the nudered honda civic si 150hp engine instead of a 200hp engine. The only thing they care about now is their Acura line. Honda has made forced induction engines in the past they just don't sell them in the states.

If Honda America realy cared about performance then they would offer a Mugen performance package on their cars.

I agree, Honda has gotten way too much ahead on the fuel saving economy bs.. I'd take over that Focus over civic any day.

Yes, and that Focus will probbaly cost more than a WRX...

I'd be thinking better cars, not a hopped up hatchback.. I don't care if it's a Ford, a Honda, or any brand. No way I'd pay premium $$$ for a fast grocery getter.

I'm thinking it will be around $22,000 or $23,000.
