Sweet why cant our limiters be at 187. It would take too long anywayz, i remember when i went to germany didnt see any american cars only bmw,benz,audis their domestics. Saw some european focus pretty sweet but you cant see ish on the autobond you just hear the cars fly by really cool worth the trip

Mechanical speedometers are so innacurate, after you hit about 85 it becomes almost exponential how much they're off. He's probably barely pushin 150.

Ask anyone that rides a nice motorcycle.

I don't doubt that's what the speedometer says....

There's really only two ways to test that theory, use radar/laser on the car while its driving, or get a GPS based speedometer.

kackass. its been road tested numerous times. same engine thats in the corvette as well. are you telling me a C5 will only do 150? dont talk about things you know not of.

you could also look at it like this. That car is pushing 290 RWHP stock. It had upgraded intake/headers/exhaust which on an LS1 V8 actually DO add a decent ammount of power. This would put him roughly at 315-320 RWHP. + 125 shot of N20. So thats 435-440 RWHP. In a car 400 lbs lighter then a viper... which it self can do 180 easy with 450 CRANK Hp. Lets not forget that on those cars N20 also adds more torque then Hp. Yea, he was only doing 150.

I gotta side with Joe on this one. My dad has an LS1 engine, it can go 167 mph stock, but I am sure with relatively simple mods that it can go just 20 mph higher.
