Rep Power: 0 The shifter is actually a vw motorsports gear shifter, many newer cars come with cable links for smoother shifting, what this does is replace all the cable with solid parts and by doing this you can shift faster with more precision and beat the $h!t out of your shifter with no problems.

One would think that any normal adult English speaking/reading human being would have been able to understand that. Since when is a "nice flat curve" (your quote) accentuated by a "spike at 5500 RPM" (my quote). Sounds like you were jumping to some conclusions there buddy boy.
