The shifter is actually a vw motorsports gear shifter, many newer cars come with cable links for smoother shifting, what this does is replace all the cable with solid parts and by doing this you can shift faster with more precision and beat the $h!t out of your shifter with no problems.

I guess it would be better with a kansas like flat curve with a VTEC spike at 5500 RPM?

No, see joe, I'm not a dumbass ricer like these other idiots you get, I was raised around american muscle, cars where you can get 400 hp easily for under $1000, and not even do much to the engine, new heads, headers, new carbs. Nice curves go nice and smooth up a chart, not all jumpy like this one, and BTW, STFU, the chart is pretty crappy

no, you said it was "too steep" i was disagreeing with that point. "smoothness" and "steepness" are two different things.

I changed nothing. what part of "steep" and "curve" became "jumpy" and "not smooth"? I ask you because it happened in YOUR post.

sounds to me like you were saying that a nice flat curve is bad, and then saying that you were just talkin about me saying it was too steep.

Oh ya, and BTW, STFU you pot-head ricer

No, im saying a flat curve with a spike in the upper RPMs is not as good as the graph posted above. One would think that any normal adult English speaking/reading human being would have been able to understand that. Since when is a "nice flat curve" (your quote) accentuated by a "spike at 5500 RPM" (my quote). Sounds like you were jumping to some conclusions there buddy boy. And real mature comments to finish up your last reply I might add. It really bolsters your point.

You're just mad because you know it's true...... Anyways, you're not as smart as you make yourself out to be, you do know your stuff, but all you do is bash ricers, who know nothing in the first place, and make yourself look smarter, ya 400 hp is nice, but i've seen it, ridin in many cars with it, even drivin cars with it, whoop dee do. You have an Si with an intake and a little shot of gas, like your car is really that great. I've got a 79 TA with a 400 BB converted to Fuel Injection with Vortech heads pushin out around 500 RWHP, and such a wild cam you wouldn't beleive how bad it shakes on idle, all sittin in a storage garage, whoop de doo... doesn't make me anymore special than the next person, but it sure is better than your slow car

BTW- this is done because it is childish, and Joe you are really childish

Well that went absolutely nowhere. I could really care less if you are impressed or not by its power output, that’s not the point. The point was to showcase a car that I found interesting. There was no problem until you tried to argue a point that never existed (your agreement that I said a "nice flat curve is bad"). This was later proven to be untrue, with logic and simple black and white fact.
The thread then took a turn for the worse after you saw that indeed, you are an assuming dumbass. Its okay, I understand your gonads won’t let you back down. Try taking a cold shower and counting to 10, you might realize how moronic your reply was, and even more so the fact that you are continuing this line of bickering. Nice try, but no cigar.

Joe you are an idiot. You asked me if I'd rather have a really flat curve with a Vtec Spike. I was telling you what a nice curve is you moron. I think you are the one who does not understand the english language.
