NOS time
well its time that i get NOS so i'm beging my research. this dude at my school has a 2002 mustang v6 auto stock and he wants to race me. i have my mods all on order. i have the thermal R&D cat-back, and injen SRI, and venom400 all being shipped right now. i'm hoping to get the kamakize header soon too. well he wants to race for some seious cash and hes giving me some time to get all my stuff in and installed cuz he'd smoke me stock. i'm thinking of getting a 50 shot of wet NOS or the NX kit. is that the right kit to ket and where can but em for a good deal? and should i even race him. do i have a shot? opinions?

Rep Power: 0 Get the NOS kit..from Nitrous Express..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. when you race him use the 75 shot jets..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. for fun..just run the 50 shot..it's much safer..

Rep Power: 0 this is some serious stuff man. and this kid knows nothing about cars. hes never raced befoe and he keeps saying crap about hondas. well i figure nothing else more insulting than a d17 2k2 beating this "mustang". well the 50 shot should give me a huge advantage plus i have the lx coupe 5 speed tranny.

Rep Power: 0 not to brag or anything but i killed a v6 stang 98' a few days ago we raced 3 times each time i beat him by a car lenght his is an auto mine is a ex 5sp with no mods he had a cai.... just goes to show u the better the driver the better the chance of winning is

Whats up. This is my first post. I just traded my 1999 V6 Auto Mustang for a 2002 Silver Civic EX 5 Speed. I must say it feels faster but i also beat 2 Civic SI's with the same car. I got caught with one on either side of me. They were not good drivers, peeling out and i beat them by half a door. This was with a two 12's and 18" Lexani Amathysts. I ran a 16.6 on my G-tech with all the same things. I think you said you had an LX (which my wife owns, Black auto) and my stang would own that. You will need the NX to win if your rolling an LX. Just my thoughts.
