civicdude will become famous soon enough
I had an 88 Si And I loved it. I would buy 88-91. I think 91 was the best year and it was also the last year. If I get another one, I want a silver 91......

91 is too heavy. completly defeats the point on getting a CRX. if thats the case why not just get a better looking (and only 100 lbs heavier) 92 Si hatch?

most of the CRX's i've seen need some major renewal. like an engine swap (whcih is the main reaon for a CRX) new interior crap, suspension, tires, stuff like that. i've yet to see an older model CRX in good condition. good luck hunting

This guy who lives in my apartment complex is selling a 1990 CRX Si with 130,000 miles on it for $2,500. Only modification is an exhaust (not cat back, just the exhaust).

If you're really concerned about weight, you should know that the Si hatch isn't the logical choice.

If I had found one of these, I'd be driving a 5.8L Mustang as my weekend car:

CRX HF
1.5L 62hp I4
45/52mpg
