my friends been building his 2JZGTE motor for the last 3 months and now it's time for tuning...Boost@30 psi and 93 Octane gas netted 770 WHP/657 TQ - this is with the new turbo, VPC & GCC. He says that the 22lb wastegate spring was maxed out, so he has to order a bigger spring also the EVC EZ was maxed out. He's rescheduled another day for the dyno so he could install the new wastegate spring and a better boost controller. He also has a 125 shot of Nitrous and on one of the dyno runs when sprayed the car netted 895 WHP/ 712 TQ....not bad for the kid from Brooklyn..
btw thats wut he told me i know his car is fast but that sounds kinda werid ....I'm not buying that deal......The limits of 93 octane are just under 400whp...And that's if you use Water Injection....W/O Water injections it's more like 350whp...I also find it sorta funny that a 125 shot netted a perfect 125hp increase, and only a 55 ft lb increase.

does he have the s-afc? my friend gained 12 hp in between dyno runs by enriching/leaning at 5500rpm and at 6200rpm-->i'd highly recommend that shiet for his ride

Rep Power: 0 Supra Tuners on the dyno and have never seen anywhere near that on 93. The limits of 93 from the boost perspective is usually around 18 w/o Water Injection and 24psi w/ Water Injection....i don't see it happening...That thing would be detonating like a ****.....Anything near 400 on 93 is just plain RISKY!! That fuel detonates like no tomorrow around there.
but I have seen 700 hp supras get eaten by 400 hp dsms. Wait actually the last one I saw, the dsm was only around 300-320 hp...
