F20b engine swap
Just found a website that's selling F20 engines from the s2000 for 6300$. would this swap be just as tough as the K20? image that though.....247hp.....MMMMMMmmmmmMMMMmmmmm
drugs is bad, mmmmkay....?
How about a search next time?
No one has ever swapped a F20 into ANY civic, much less a 7thgen. It just isn't possible unless you have about $20K to blow on it(maybe more)

You're gonna need to convert a civic to RWD, and probably extend the hood quite a bit.... No way will it fit.[hr]

This has to fit sideways.... with a K20 tranny to convert it to FWD... According to Prototype Racing...
"We've recently purchased this 3000 mile old Honda F20C engine (S-2000) that will be coupled to the 6 speed limited slip trans from the new K20A. This is Honda's top line performance engine, producing 240HP,and redlined at 9000 RPM is the highest revving production engine ever built. After finishing the new Lotus Elise - Honda K20A conversion kit, the engineering will commence on the F20C conversion. This will be a more substantial project, as it will require a completely new casting for the bell-housing end of the trans. Prototype Racing will produce this casting, fully machined, for anyone desiring to mate the F20C engine to the K20A trans. "
if it fits, say hello to the 260 WHP Civic (F20C1 W/ Vortech supercharger), there may be hope if this works, but I bet it won't be cheap....
I sure wish my car was newer

Umm, yes its possible. Its also possible to pay cash for a new Ferrari or Lamborghini. But if you had the money to do all the necessary conversions to the engine/car, you'd be better off buying a car that was meant to be fast.

It's possible, I don't see why not.
People are putting GNX motors into RX-7s and Mustang engines into Miatas. S2000 into a Civic doesn't seem that far fetched.
Whether it makes sense or not, that's the question..

of course it makes sense it would be the fastest 7th gen civic ever. not including the drag car which is just a body. I would do it where can i find this engine for sale with no more than 3000 miles on it. i dont want to do all the work and spend all the money on a worn out engine. I want new or close to it. it is a honda engine no different than putting a K20 under the hood. Just more power.
