Got rid of the Type S and Civic today...
and got a Satin Silver Metallic base auto. Very noticiable difference in power compared to the Civic...I also get to keep all my JDM parts(minus the spoiler) that I invested into the Type S. Thanks to the remanents of Isidore however my Underbody spoiler kit was delayed and wont be installed til tuesday...thats when im going to be putting on everything that was on the S...also heres a pic I took (with it being crappy out).

Well... 160HP... reminiscent to your old Si when it was stock?
And when DOES the VTEC activate in the new RSXs anyway? I only know where it kicks in for the DC5R and that is at 6,000RPMs.

well it is still 5800rpm in the Type S, however it isnt audibly heard til 6k(I believe the stock tach is off a little considering redline is at 7900 however you can rev to 8200) , As for the base, ive heard 4800, but I couldnt tell you for sure, I havent really researched it.

the i-VTEC on the base IS geared more toward gas economy- its the same as in the new Si, intake cam only.
new pic from today- its got nice out so I put on my JDM headlights and Integra badge.

The reason I started the hatch was to have a 5 spd again that was quicker than the RSX...also so a mis-shift would not occur again. The only reason the Civic was auto was so my fiance could drive it- hence the only reason I got an RSX in automatic.
Hope that clears it up.

argh the drama today. Went in at 9am to have my OEM Kit installed since it didnt arrive Friday...well I get there and they take my car back only to tell me the front spoiler was the only one that arrived. Since the only Acura dealer is 30 mins away I just told him to put it on and call when the other ones got here...no sense in wasting the trip. After waiting an hour he comes back to tell me that he had found a full underbody spoiler kit, in silver, that another customer had ordered to get installed. So he took theres and put it on my car woot!
Looks like they'll be the ones waiting.

I think the wing is a huge compliment to the silver.
I think just like the previous Integras, IMO *they all need a spoiler*. I like the spoiler available for the RSX or the Integra iS. Maybe you should get an iS emblem?

From the JDM Integra catalogue... got the entire thing.
