New V8 Lexus IS300
Looks like Lexus is the next to jump onto the high performance bandwagon with their IS300 sedan. They are currently testing a 4.3L V8, from the LS430 in the lighter IS300 chassis. The engine produces 320hp.

Rep Power: 316 IMO, I think the IS300 looks better than the M3.
with it getting the V8...sure it might not be as powerful as the M3, but still...tons of tuning potential, AND the car looks awesome, and looks awesome right off the lot!

They are planning to challenge the possibility of the M3/M5 transplanted engine. Like the LeMans M3's... 4.9L 400 HP... in an M3

Rep Power: 0 i would definitely choose the M3 over the is300. it looks awesome straight out of the factory (looks lowered right out the factory) plus a friend of a friend has one that runs 14.3 stock--his best so far
he's going NA and once he changes cams, exhaust, and chip no doubt he'll be in the high 13's
