carbon fiber hood, where to get from?

my insurance company gave me close to $1000 to fix my right front fender and replace my hood. I decided to go with a carbon fiber hood. the cheapest i found it for was $483 shipped. can anyone do any better? and also, due to buyin the hood from a cheaper company, is there a difference in quality of the hood? thnx!

I'm also in the market for a Carbon Fiber hood and it's been so hard to order from anywhere.

Usually with Carbon Fiber hoods the cheaper is the cheaper it's made. If you have the loot I'd say go with Fiber Images or DG Motorsport. Otherwise I don't have any other recomendations.

What I'm doing : There's a local tuner shop. They said they're going to be getting hoods in for $500 for the 7th gen civic. I'm going to wait to check them out to see if they're made well. When it comes to an item that huge and that expensive I'd really feel uncomfortable if I didn't see the item with my own eyes before I purchased.

Hope this helps.
