Rep Power: 0 If you are talking about the motorized license plate holder... I would have to say that it could probably be a ticketable offense. It would allow you to hide your license plate, which in most states that require front and rear plates, that is illegal.

Rep Power: 400 I'm sure it's illegal, but what's the point? The only thing it would be good for is avoiding a traffic camera that takes a pic of the front plate, other than that, it's useless. It could be a thing for show, so you don't have to screw the front plate into the bumper, but other than that, it's a waste of $300.

Rep Power: 0 lol, it would be pretty funn tho if a cop pulled you over for not having a front plate, then while he's doing what ever he does in his car, flip the switch and shazaam! He realizes that he's an idiot because you DO have a front plate.... now

Rep Power: 0 Ya, like it was said before, I think thats a waste of money. $300 !!! Imagine if you saved the money from a few parts like that and bought something that was really worth it, like a whole suspension kit! That would be sweet!!!

Rep Power: 0 They had something like that on one of the cars in that really old-school movie "Herbie goes to Monte Carlo." Well, it was a 'Herbie' movie anyways, you guys remember that? The Love Bug??! Heh heh ..
Except the licenseplate changed from one to another while the guy was getting a ticket. It was funny, but not worth $300

Rep Power: 0 hmm...i think it is meant to try and deter criminals....i had a thought about this a few years ago (everyone laughed at me) but instead of having a switch to turn it you would have a matrix pad (a number key pad) and punch in a combination...the problem with that one is they can still get their hands on the plate...get tie wraps and use that to support the plates..
