Those with a CF hood, quick help please!

Hey guys. Im getting my CF hood this Saturday at a local shop. Problem is it's 25mins away and I dont kno wha to do with my stock hood. I was thinking of taking it off and going there and installing the new one there. I got the VIS oem Carbon fiber hood. Anyone get this? I doubt the oem hood will fit in my trunk along with tons of other goodies I wasted my money on at the local shop. How easy is it to take off the oem hood, can anyone give me a quick pointer or two for an easy installation?

Also, Im not planning to use my spray hood nozzles. Has anyone takin this accessory completely off?

THANKS GUYS!
Lou-

How much did you pay for the hood??? After you install it, let us know if you had any fitment issues or any other problems. Also, I want to see pics. I'm in the market for a CF hood, but I'm not sure where I should go to get the best deal for quality.

Anyone kno how to disconnect the windshield spray completely?
VIS supposed ot be pretty good, but it's not even on the parts list here on 7thgen. It's 450 bucks but I got it for a lil cheaper.

I would take a truck to go and pick it up bc chances are the latch wont latch correctly with the factory set up. On my hood I went ahead and put on hoodpins but you can cut your radiator support and move up the latching mech. so it will latch. So If I were you I would def take a truck to get it bc if you drive with it unlatched well..... you know what will happen.

i'd have to agree with midvis. install the hood at home cause chances are you will run into problems installing the hood.

I would just disconnect the power running to the spray pump. It would probably be a good idea to drain the reservoir and tubing too.
