I'm sure we could, if somebody were to mass produce one that actually fit unlike every other aftermarket part for this car.

Woah don't talk like that, ur makin me scarred.
One, we don't have a plastic intake manifold, we have a stock resonator and air box made of plastic, the manifold is NOT. You don't like it? Simple as buying an intake.
Two, I would not see why it wouldn't work. If you are really serious about this operation look into the B18c intake manifold, it lies behind the block like our engines and it has about the same hieght, this will increase horsepower
Three, why don't you think smarter and use what you got? Take apart the throttle body and port and polish it, a B18c or a B18c5 throttle body is gonna be bigger inside but it doesnt mean it'll optimize our airflow, keeping in mind B series are DOHCs.

Good Luck, you'll need it

Acually we do have plastic intake manifolds. A lot of cars do. It's to keep the temp down in the engine.

aznthug08 is right, we do have plastic intake manifolds. but that doesnt mean so much. i mean yeah you could have one made of metal or swap one from a different car. of course then you have hotter air coming into the engine. the S2000 have plastic intake manifolds...or at least the new V6 model that i read about will have one.

Yep its already been done on couple of cars here in st louis, i was gonna get it but im going turbo instead, and i dont want to customize the turbo with the new manifold. How much did lightspeed charge you for the install and everything 01civic planet. Could you notice a good gain, maybe i will get it.

I am currently working on a polished aluminum custom intake. I have a custom tubo, and you don't need any special turbo set up for it. The one I have now will work fine. 01civicplanet, how did yours work out? What did it run you (money wise)?

Yeah, we have a plastic one. It's on all 7th gen Civics. Maybe on the hybrid Civic as well, but I don't know for certain.

Hey 01civicplanet, i was talking to lightspeed and they said that the check engine light stays on after the install , because of one of the sensor's not hooked up. Is ur check engine light on all the time.
