i thought that my clutch pedal had been sqeaking ever since ive had my car, i got it in january, every time i release the clutch, i hear a loud squeaking noise, i dorpped it off to the dealer twice, both times the whole day and honda said that they lubricated it and the clutch looks fine, they said if it sqeaks again, bring it back so they can hear it, so one day it was sqeaking really loud and i figured ive had enough, so i brought it back and the technician said that it sounds like the sqeaking is coming from the exhaust when i release the cluth, so i made an appointment on sept.11, they better fix it this time, has anybody had this problem in their civics?

what kind of exhuast do you have and who installed it... you could have a bad connection somewhere on your exhaust or it could be rubbing against part of your body

id suggest park somewhere, get under the car (might need to jack it up) and have a friend rev the engine for you... you will be able to hear where its coming from and see if it is smacking part of your body or something...

my car is competely stock, no aftermarket exhaust or nutin, and it only sqeaks when i release the clutch in gear

hmm... sounds like they should cover it under warranty
