steering wheel removel disco battery?!?!?!?

steering wheel removel disco battery?!?!?!?

Is it nessesary to disconnect the battery when undoing the air bage harness wires???

i'm switching my Si steering wheel with the real momo JDM civic type-r one [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]) it has better grip and the red H badge, i will be selling my old one soon.

It's always a good idea to disconnect your negative battery terminal when doing any electrical work. Just to be on the safe side.

Actually the air bags have a reserve power of 30 mins. You should disconnect the battery then wait AT LEAST 30 mins before you work anywhere near the airbag.

Remove the neg batt terminal, wait 10 minutes, then push the brake pedal.

Thats all there is to it.
