SquallF8 [10:39 PM]: what sorta engine?
Dubbing30 [10:39 PM]: b16a
SquallF8 [10:39 PM]: doesn't fit in my civic
Dubbing30 [10:47 PM]: yah
Dubbing30 [10:47 PM]: fits all civic
SquallF8 [10:48 PM]: no it doesn't
SquallF8 [10:48 PM]: the tranny spins opposite on 7th gens
SquallF8 [10:48 PM]: thats why only K and D series fit into them
SquallF8 [10:49 PM]: B, H, etc all fit into 00- 6th gen civics and the tranny spins clock wise I believe not to mention it also has return fuel system where 7th gens use returnless
Dubbing30 [10:50 PM]: what year is ur car
SquallF8 [10:50 PM]: 2002
Dubbing30 [10:50 PM]: coupe?
SquallF8 [10:50 PM]: yes
Dubbing30 [10:50 PM]: man that sh** fits cause its the same motor as the si
Dubbing30 [10:50 PM]: it is a si motor
SquallF8 [10:50 PM]: what yr si?
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: all si's are b16 motors
SquallF8 [10:51 PM]: no, that is stupid
SquallF8 [10:51 PM]: 2002 si uses k20a engine
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: yes man
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: the new si's are b16a3
SquallF8 [10:51 PM]: why doyou think 02 si is "i-vtec" ?
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: 3 generations
SquallF8 [10:51 PM]: hahahahahah
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: like i said its 3rd gen
Dubbing30 [10:51 PM]: i got gen 1
SquallF8 [10:52 PM]: 02 si uses K series engine, not B.
SquallF8 [10:52 PM]: go to a dealership and read the window invoice yourself
Dubbing30 [10:52 PM]: go ls vtec
Dubbing30 [10:53 PM]: now what
Dubbing30 [10:53 PM]: use ht e vtec head on a ls block
SquallF8 [10:53 PM]: it doesn't spin same way for 7th gens man
SquallF8 [10:54 PM]: it'd be like spinning the tires in reverse... you'd go backwards in 5 gears at 160 hp if thats even possible, but thats what you'd accomplish.
SquallF8 [10:57 PM]: Don't mean to sound rude, but you need to learn some more about it all before you try sellin that engine to some one stupid and end up screwing them. Latez

the d17 spins counter clockwise like all other Honda engines. The only honda motor that spins clockwise is the K20. That's why if you look at a si/sir, type-s the intake manifold is in the front, and if you look at your car its in the back. just thought i'd help ya out.
