You can't play it while you drive. I heard a screen that is visible by the driver is illegal. Hmmm... is it just something you do when your car is going to be in a show? Or do your passengers actually play them?

Well you'd be surprised what I've seen people do while they're driving. I would'nt mind having one in my car. Would be pretty sweet for long trips and such. Although, now that I think about it, probably not a good idea not to have it on while your driving, just another distraction.

Well, because they can afford to. Simple as that. Hell, if I could afford to put a k20 in my car I would, but since it's a daily driver, that's not all that practical . . . or is it?

Greg (MugenRacerX) had it in his car for awhile (didn't like the way the headuint made his system sound tho so he got rid of it) and it was great. we went to siu (5 hours) and watched a movie there, played ps2 on the way back... (he had it rigged so he could watch it while the car was in drive... normally you cant' do that at all, the system won't allow it). it was kinda a pain tho...had to reach behind that passenger seat to change movies, games or music. but it was cool

and about the $ thing... it's not always cause people can afford it... greg did it 'cause he thought the headunit would sound better. unfortunately it didn't (he thought) so he returned the screen/tuner and kept playstation at home. why he put ps2 in his car... i dunno... i was ready to kill him tho 'cause i thought it was too unsafe (but then i got addicted to gt3 )

I would do it. It's something to keep you busy in traffic or when sitting outside your g/f house waiting for her to get ready. It's also handy at the mall, you can have your g/f go in and shop for hours while you sit in your car and play GT3!

im getting a screen in my car over the winter some time. its not expensive at all $75+ for a screen then ps2 or what not. and the music just hooks up to the stereo (it has to have an aux in connection).

so you could have a ps2 in your car for

ps2 -200
screeen - 100
hu - 250 ish

550 for a ps2 in your ride. i just need the screen

u don't even need a head unit for the screen, all u have to do is buy the screen and hook the ps2 up to the screen, all screens have to come with video and audio(if there is a speaker on it), if not all you have to do is hook up an am/fm tuner for like $20, set it to a certain station on the radio and u can get the sound that way (technology is pretty much the same for cell phones that go through the car speakers).

And for those who want to dog my post about this, I have done it in my last two cars, I am getting the screen soon for my civic. So, u jerks older members. Don't forget there are probably people with a lower rank than u that know more the u probably ever will.

Hehe, I like old school Nintendo. I bought PS1 over N64. I just think it's weird to put a ps in your car... and I wonder why no one does it with Nintendo or Xbox or anything. At least I haven't seen it.

i have a clarion vrx 815 in mine, I grounded out the ebrake lockout on it so I can watch it while driving, sometimes I even watch movies while driving, but mostly listen to CD's with it open cause it has a cool equalizer and touchscreen.

I don't have a PS2 in my ride though, I have a PowerAcoustic DVD/MP3/VCD player... I only throw the PS2 in every once in a great while... but I listen to mp3s and DVDs more than I am sitting long enough to play a game

Actually I installed an XBOX this last weekend, I decided to go with XBOX because I was able to put a 120gig drive in it & mount a slot-load IDE drive in the dash. So I can use it to play MP3's off the HD, Play DVD's, Play tons of games/emulators off the HD etc. So I really don't even have to switch any music or game CD's in it. The drive is mainly for loading new music/games to the HD.
