Heh....I think this guy terms anything "slow" *not twin turbo* "rice". Its okay to have a "big spoiler", rims and what people like to term "fart cannon" on a FAST car, but on a slow car its "rice". Fast and riced out=respected; slow and riced out=not respected. I don't get this guy's logic.
IMO I don't really like exhausts cause most of them sound nasty. But your car isn't rice, heck its kinda clean looking: no altezzas and such.

wow dude, what should I get you for your 12th birthday?
I'm a z-car freak myself, but I bought my civic because I needed something practical. Yes I modify my car for show, because I like to, not because I think it's "worth it" You know how "worthwhile" those $1K+ exhaust systems for the Z32 are..........
Anyway, if you don't have anything useful to add to this site, get the hell out.
Thank you.

i know you are not talking about a new one, but a 96 z32 vs a 96 civic isn't a nice little match either. if you are going to compare the z32, compare it to cars in your own class, v6/i6 with turbos, not these little 4 bangers than pushes 90hp. and if you are whining about the 7thgen, then why did you buy it?

its funny because such a site exists, and because they are abusing it. that exhaust is NOT oversize... and its not like you are painting your drum brakes or doing anyting with them other then what they are for. sounds like hes just equating putting rims and an exhaust on a civic as "rice" (oversize indeed, that tip cant be larger then 3"). and id call a stock civic with oversize tires rice, yours are no smaller then stock. id write the author a raving rant, or perhaps the site admin pointing out exactly why your car ISNT rice, adn what they SHOULD be looking at. youd never see a car like that on DECENT anti rice sites like brians rice boy page
Here is a strange encounter. As we were driving down US-41, we heard the sound of a very angry weed-wacker in the distance. As we got closer we discovered that it was no more than a stock civic with a big fart cannon. As we drove by, four skinny asian thugs peered out the windows at us. Not only were all four of the kids wearing the same shirts, white wife-beaters, but they all had white bandanas over their heads. On top of the bandanas were sideways hats. This just confused me.
he is talking about a different car, tim
I think a lot of cars are rice on here, but I don't think your is that bad. Its pretty mellow. What's wrong with the stock drum brakes?
Anyway, SeV has a point, whether or not he's bein impolite and scathing about our cars. Many people will believe your car is rice even if you have a 2.25" exhaust. Maybe the majority. Its rice because some people believe that spending ANY money on your econo car is a waste.
Personally, I think 7thgens are the bomb, in looks, and general build quality. I'm pretty happy at my car being stock, but wouldn't mind getting some nice rims and lowering it. Or getting an HKS back... or brembo's ...etc etc etc.

the pullies, i was debating, because i might run a huge system in my car again, in that case, the batteries will be sucked dry in no time. and plus, i have an automatic, i never said my car was fast, it doesn't even look fast... most of the other cars on that site claims they are fast, or it is fast. but i never said anything about mine

lol, the site got shut down
"SRQ-Racing.com is now offically off the internet. In the past 3 days the owners of this website have recieved many complaints and threats against them and their families. This website was originally created as a humorous, opinionated website and was not intended to hurt any specific people. We would like to apologise to those who were offended by the website. No one has forced us to take the website down, it was by our own choice. Please do not try to contact anyone who was involved with the website for negative purposes. We have done as requested and do not wish to have any more problems about this website. Once again, we are sorry for the trouble and thank you for understanding.
One question we would like to ask is this: If in the future, SRQ-Racing.com was made into a real Sarasota cars website, would you use the service? We have had several people, who had cars posted on the website, contact us with the idea of making this type of website. The site would have areas such as: user submitted rides, mechanic listings, open discussions, retailer listings, events, and other Sarasota related content. The website would be a free service if created and would be welcome to any and all cars as long as they are in Sarasota county (or close to it). If you think this is a good idea, please email us and let us know what you think about this idea. This is just a concept, and there are several Sarasota car clubs interested, but if we recieve enough feedback from everyone, then we will consider building the website."
