Just roasted a Cavi
I'll finally post a race story cause it was just too funny.
I went on my supper break to go eat at my girlfinends. On my way there there's construction, it's cut down to 2 lanes and all concreted off. Some yahoo in a 4-door cavi, Huge spoiler about 2 ft off the rear deck, Lowered about 2 1/2" on OEM wheels and NO camber correction..we get to the one stoplight on the road and he looks at me...runs his inger over his throat like a "your dead" Gesture then revs.. I didn't bother..I just waited till the light turned green and took off. By the time I dropped into 3rd was a car length ahead of him.. It's sad that a DX civic sedan with only an Imitation CAI and about 300lbs of sound deadening and sound system could beat a totally modded out 4-door cavi..
Why do people think that Giant spoilers ..yellow stickers and APC bolt on mufflers make U fast... I'm slow..oi...

Rep Power: 420 Wow, I don't know man? That's stupid. How come people can't guage who's faster. I mean, I would be nuts to try and take on a WRX for example. Or even an '02 Civic Si. Or a base manual mustang. Or a Focus hatch (with the better engine). I mean, if the driver doesn't look stupid, then he'll spank you. Even if he doesn't know how to drive that well. A WRX itself will spank you. Not withstanding the driver. I think these people that "modify" their car just slap some stuff on and they think they're fast. LOL Maybe they think all of those mods that claim +20hp here and +15hp there really work. Then they race and they're like, "WTF man? I had my intake and my exhaust and that guy won!".
