The sedan would look much better if the windshield was sloped more like the coupe windshield. The fact that it's so upright just kills the line of the car and gives the car its "bubbly look" I like the coupe look better.

The sedan's designed in Japan, coupe in US. They don't really have a rice audience in Japan, hence its more conservative contours. Even if they have a rice audience, its not in civics but in those min-minivans, minivans and mid-size sedans.

Sedans are normal looking. Coupe's are more sporty. Coupe

Basically you get a sedan if you're "family oriented". Or if you haul a lot of people around. Or if you do lots of grocery shopping. Or if you want lower insurance premiums. Or if you want to do the RS conversion. Or if your parents made you get the sedan. Or if you couldn't find one at the dealership. Or if you're going for the rally look. Or if you didn't like the "sporty" coupe. Or if you're tall.

I didn't care for any of those things. That's why I got the coupe.

From a stylish point of view the coupe is #1. (my personal opinion I guess, then again it is in more commercials than the sedan)
From a practical point of view the sedan is #1. (at least my parents think so)
From a racing point of view the coupe is #1. (low drag coefficient and weighs less)

I have a coupe. I will continue to buy only coupes. That is unless I start a family. Then I'll buy a sedan. That's way in the future though... In all honesty I don't consider the sedan to look good. The only sedan that looks good is one with the Xenon bodykit. It has to be white though. Otherwise you see the bodylines too much. The body lines on the sedan aren't the greatest. Black or white hides them the best.

Stock sedans do nothing for me. I think once they have a body kit and rims they look very nice, but the stock sedans look good to me. I usually like sedans a lot more. My next car will be a European sport sedan no matter what. But to each his own, and if your coupe makes you happy... good for you. If someone's sedan makes them happy... good for them. I'll stick with my coupe for now at least.

I like sedans.

Although, the look of the coupe is completely different and in my opinion, they really can't be compared to one another as the sedan was designed in Japan and the coupe here in America.
