Different question for nitrous junkies

Pretty much the only thing that I know about nitrous oxide I have learned by what you guys have posted or doing research on the internet, and talking to a few people. However, I have no experience with it. My question is, do you guys ride around on the street with your bottles open? Does the nitrous only spray at WOT? Or do you just have the nitrous for the track? I know that in alot of states it's illegal to have your bottle open on the streets, but since when did that stop anyone? Also, if you do ride around on the street with the bottle open, does it affect anything else, like engine wise?

I don't have nitrous but yea, you can have the bottle open all the time......and heated.
If you have the WOT switch, then you just flip it, and when you hit your set rpm, nitrous will kick in, and there you go.......
Or if you have a remote bottle opener, just flip your switch.....wallla.....bottle is open........

i see no problem with having it open all the time... just be careful you dont spray in the middle of traffic by accident

wouldnt keeping the bottle open cause damage to the nitrous solenoid?i always close my bottle for that reason, but if you guys do it all the time and have had no problems w/ leaking. ill go ahead and do that now.

That's the exact reason not to keep it open. Solenoids are expensive and they don't last long at all is you leave the juice going to them all the time..... Also, think about it, if you get into an accident, you're screwed since the bottle is open ALL THE TIME........ Just my $.02.......
