If your product is better than the competition why offer less of a warranty? Are you not confident in your product?
That's my question. Other imports such as Hyundai and Kia have 100k mile warranties. Honda offers 36k. Man, what a difference.

I believe Kia and such forth do that because that's what draws all their costumers....imo Honda shouldn't have to have a huge unnecessary warranty because their costumers trust their quality in the first place...plus you better have a huge warranty for a piece of sh it like a Kia

those two makes and daewoo are forign but not japanese, they are korean. these companies don't have the reputation that the japenese makes like honda & toyota. they use this as a marketing edge to give a false impression of better liability. as long as you keep up with your maintance religiously, any card can do 150,000 no problem. if you take could care of your car a warrenty won't matter in most cases, unless u have a lemon.
i would't by a korean car even if it had a huge warrenty.

Why offer less of a warranty? Because, if your product is known to work, you don't need marketing gimics to sell your products. Its not like Hyundai replaces everything if it breaks down in 100,000 miles.

If its not a factory defect in material or workmanship, then the 100,000 mile waranty is... worthless"
also the warenty is not transferable. my friend is the second owner of a 97 hyundai elantra with 45,000 miles he doesn't get that 60,000 bumper to bumper, or the 100,000 mile powertrain coverage.
