Did you mean Altezza? If so it's a Toyota. Anyways, I like the thin lights in the front. I hate this new age thing of making the lights all big and shiit, like our cars and the damn new Accord. Bring back small lights!
Yea...the new RX-7 (if they make it) will be modeled after the RX-8. There will never be another RX-7 )or Supra) like the original.

Too late, Mazda will end production of the current RX7 this month. I would have loved to have seen a relaunch of the FD here in the states. However, I just read that they're considering a new RX7 for 2004 release if the RX8 sells well. Yet, nothing will look as good as an FD.
To be honest I'm with noodle on this one...not because I have a Protege5 but because the Acura EL I had is the most problematic car I have ever owned new or used period.
GM has partnership with Toyota...so does Chrysler has partnership with Benz. What does that tell you about? Nothing at all. Partnership can simply means they do their R&D together but it's up to each maker to source parts, build and market their own product.

That ownz! Very beautiful body style. The white one that is... It's kinda modded out. The stock one is nice too, but the white one is sick!
For a sedan that is...

Fyi My Mazda Pro5 has had no recalls, so much for YOUR civic. Mazda's reliability is on par with Honda except maybe the rotaries, but that's a totally different engine. Most Mazda's are still made in Japan. Where was your made?
Anyhow, I disagree with most everyone. That car looks like a big corolla and is way to busy looking for my taste. Maybe it will look better in person.
Mazda on par with honda...ROFLMAO

Honestly, I don't think the next Mazda 6 will sell.
First of all, North American customers aren't really keen on handling. It's sad, but it's true. And that is the car's key point--to offer driving dynamics unlike anything in its price range. They just care about horsepower. Hence why the Altima, to Nissan's low volume standards, is a success. Besides, for somesome who is cross shopping with a Camry & Accord--do they REALLY care about handling prowess?
Mazda 6 is being released with a terriblely underpowered engine. 220HP for the V6. Not bad--for yesterday. Altima pushes 240HP, so does the Accord. Camry, which will have a new 3.3L engine in the next one, will boast also 240HP, but with gobs of more torque.
For Mazda to take a Camry/Accord buyer to even LOOK at the Mazda 6, it needs to be 10% better in everything. It has to have 10% more HP, 10% better handling, and 10% better ride.
And it's not like it's a drop dead gorgeous like the Protege 5 either. It's a doomed failure.

Actually , the Mazda 6 has already been released in Europe and sales have exceeded their expectations.
Also from many honda owners, i've heard they don't like the new Accord 4dr sedans.
The camry?
So owners looking for the best value for their buck on a 4dr sedan IMO is the Mazda 6. Well priced, good looks, decent power, and superior handling.
