Rep Power: 0 REALLLY pissed @ HONDA, anyone help me ?
HEY!
so pisssssssssed!.. brought my car in to HONDA to get my hand brakes adjusted and then when the car comes out with a DENT right at the side back right side.
IF i didn't check my car before i brought it in than it must be my fault or i got it somewhere BUT I checked it with my mom and one of the girls who worked there and there was no dent when i brought it in.
THe manager came out and said it's NOT their fault, there is no way they could of made that dent and told me not to accuse them of making it. The girl just stood there and was too scared to say anything even though she saw that my car was perfect.
WHAT SHOULD i DO next ??? i'm in Canada
It's not the money that matters...BUT i'm pissed because they are BSing me sooooooooo bad!
HELP HELP.. i don't know any lawyers. =(

Rep Power: 0 Tell them that you have witnesses that saw the car before it went in and if they don't take
care of the problem your gonna take them to small claims court.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, I would take it to court. And if the girl did see it w/o the dent when it went in, then if it got far enough in court for her to be a witness, she is supposed to be honest then. She'd then be too scared to lie.

Rep Power: 0 That's what i'm thinking.. COURT but i don't have a case. She can just say, I wasn't looking at the side.
NEways, My best suggestions for those who are going to bring their cars in is "have them check for dents and put it on paper"
IF everyone thinks about it, if one of the mechanics decide to take apart your car JUST For the heck of it and then when you drive it, it feels different and YOU KNOW they did something. you wouldn't be able to do ANYTHING about it.

Talk to the OWNER of the dealership. Tell him you are on a message board with over 4000 registered users and information spreads quickly. ehh, try not to make it sound like a threat. Just tell the owner what happened.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, my dealer does that too. They circle and x any dents and dings on a clipboard prior to doing any service work. But yeah...I'd go to court and settle the matter. Good luck!

Rep Power: 0 try to get the girl to say something to the manager, if she won't. Write a letter to the owner...they are very helpful in situations like this...VERY, cuz they don't want customers to go around and give them a bad reputation. Also, the girl may be more willing to talk to the owner than to the manager, due to the fact that manager is the one who is gonna complain/yell at her.

Rep Power: 0 Well if nothing happens just go to the dealership late one night, and dent or flatten one of the tires on the lot since they dented your car....j/k

Rep Power: 0 You should just try going directly to Honda Canada, however makesure you let the people that dented your car know your doing that ( put a scare into them) and just keep after them I really don't think they'll take it that far. I know because they also wrote off my friend s2000
good luck
