Cool a fellow dude from Quebec !!! Well running at Napierville?... Most 2k1 SI coupe guys run in the low 16's.. seeing as this is your first run.. Don't get your hopes too high.. Also..don't drop the clutch.. rev up to about 3000rpms and release the clutch quickly..but do not dump it..you'll bounce and lose alot of time.. Shifting.. redline it of course.... And don't try to speed shift or shift too fast..any bounciness in your shifting will cost you time.. if you must shift a tad slow so your not rushing it.

Cheers

I've been to the track a couple of times and here's my advice: Infalte them to the mid 20's. 15 is too low. Drop the clutch around 4k to 4.5k RPM. Shift right before you hit the rev limiter...play around with it a few times to know exactly where it is. As far as the stagging lights go, the top two light up when u are fully staged. Then there are 3 yellow lights, followed by the green. Go when you see the 2nd yellow light up. So far I've done like 20 or so runs in all my trips to the track and I average a 16.5 ish. My best is a 16.3 Click on the link in my sig to se my car and its mod's.

I use the OEM tires inflated to 22PSI and I get some good off the line traction.. 15psi might be too little

times vary car to car driver to driver, 15psi is way to low, u wont do too good the first run, ull have to get a feel for things reaction times and such, and dont forget to watch the lights, and not the other person next to u, keep the windows up, take out the back seat and spare tire
