EXHAUST HELP!!!
Whats up everyone.. I just lowered my car and the stock exhaust looks like he!! So, I've decided to get a complete cat back job done on my LX. My question is this: shold I pay close to 600 bucks for a cat back system?? Or should I just get custome piping and a muffler? And to those who have a custome job done on their civic.. how much did you guys pay?? I wanna know so if I go to get it dont the muffler shop dose not RAPE my ***. Thanks all

why would you pay 600 for an exhaust? thats insane!!! if you want one, check out the internet for deals....unless you are trulyhooked on the custom exhaust........in that case, i don't know how much you would pay....i payed 300 for my magnaflow, and got it spot welded to fit perfect...no more scrapes

Hey 01Civic... How does it sound?? If it sounds good I'll pb do that. Is it deep or highpiched and ricy? I want a good sound, not the "i have a bee hive traped in a garbage can" sound. Thanks for the input.

forgot to mention price.
Muffler and new tip- $90 from friend who used it for about a year
Installation costs-$40 for removing resonator and putting on muffler. $130 aint bad. I've always liked thermal mufflers for their deep sound.

I totally understand your dilema. Look at my post, and get an idea of how your car can sound with just a new muffler. I got to admit that my muffler is ugly, but I really liked the end result, which was the low deep sound. For the cost, I can't complain, but you might get a stainless exhaust for better looks.
