Leased Civic
ok so what out there is the rules, if any one knows, about leased vehicles? what performance stuff can you do to it? could you do exhaust? or maybe a CAI? do you just basically have to stay within the warranty guidelines? or what stuff can you do and easily take off without them knowing?

Well, you can do anything that you can take off before you return it, but if you don't plan on buying it once your lease is up, I wouldn't bother. Any mods you do that can be removed aren't going to give that much of a HP increase anyway . . .

ditto
I'm leasing mine with the intent on buying it.
Once I'm done school (re: university), I'm just gonna go down and pay for it, instead of waiting out the lease.
You can pretty much do whatever you want...just don't be shocked if you blow something like the alternator (after putting pulleys on), and have them NOT cover it under their warranty.
by law they have to be able to prove that the pulleys/exhaust/intake which is not stock actually caused the problem...but most of the time they'll just bullsh.it their way out of proving it, and charge you.
what a bunch of bastards.
sorry, just my ranting.
d00d, if you want a kewl hobby, go for it. if not, stick with stock!
