Personally, I love it. I know it sort of looks like a Pontiac from the front, but who cares, look at the FMIC!

the evo's have always looked great! those and the imprezza's looked somewhat similar, and always looked tight!

Rep Power: 0 When I get married in 2 years, I am going to give the Civic to my wife and I am getting a new car. I am looking at an Impreza WRX or STI, but who knows what will be out in 2 years. Not really a fan of the EVO though.

Rep Power: 0 What are some of you talking about. They arent going to be going for that much. I think around $35-40K. Pay off more of your current vic until they arrive, then when you have enough equity in it, trade it in or sell it for a VII. Rep Power: 0 hey man $35k-$40k is very expensive i think to most of the people on the site. if we thought that amount of money wasn't that much then i think most of us would be driving another type of car and not a civic. car looks cool but too damn expensive i think for a mistubishi.

Last I heard was that sticker price was going to be under $30k, but that was at this years North American Auto Show. Any know updated pricing?

Looks pretty good. I just don't like the tail lights. Looks too much like the Lancer sold here now. I know it is a Lancer, but I don't like the looks of it. They should change the tail lights.

Rep Power: 309 they are supposed to be 5 thousand more than the wrx,and 10k less than the s4 so it will be around 28-30k. they are going to have 250-275 hp and 275 tourque with the twin turbo 4 cylinder engine. i went to the mitsubishi dealership about a month ago and they said they were coming out in jan 2003 but the next one they had available was in may. also everything i read about the car compared it only to the corvette. plus with the all wheel drive the car is insane.

Rep Power: 0 The reason they changed the front end was because this is the Evo VIII and not the VII as some people first speculated. Also they're aiming at different models of the car, one from $28k stripped, and one for $32k with the options. Nothing's sure right now, I got those pictures from lancerforums.com, and those pictures are not exactly legal.
I'm still very excited about the car because it's better than having no Evo!
