I was going to say.........you would think it would pass emision with no problems. I dont know about crash test data, but the body in itself it still a type-s like we already have, its just RHD. I could see why its so much on the skylines, obviously they are not a production car in the states.

The JDM 2002 ITR will not pass US emissions, trust me, I had a friend try it. He had to put a more restrictive cat and piggyback fuel computer to lean it out so that he could pass emissions. There are also many excise taxes, import taxes, penalties the US government imposes on anyone that buys something overseas and brings it back (same as if you flew to Singapore, bought a camera and brought it back- legally you're responsible for 12% tax at customs). These are insanely stupid, but they are the law. He ended up spending $23,500 for the car (brand new) and around $18,000 to import and get it legal in Oklahoma. Keep in mind, go to somewhere with tighter emissions (California or Texas) it'll be a lot more expensive, and require more modification to pass emissions.
This thread shows pics of a guys ITR he imported in for his g/f. He had to ship the chassis and engine seperate to get it into the US. His friend posted this thread because ppl didnt believe he had it brought over, so he went and took pictures of it. He has also said that he most likely wont be able to get it to be registered, and only be able to use it as a show car.

That guy must have spent alot of money to get it here. I just got an email back from j's garage and he told me unless this vehicle was either just a show vehicle or a race vehicle, it would not be possible unless I was prepared to submit crash test data for RHD. Also, he said without an OBD2, it would not pass emissions. And a 1995 Skyline GT-R would cost in the neighborhood of $50K total to get the car but unfortunately motorex is the only company that do it right now.

$480.00 a wheel. Daaaaaaaaaammn, thats harsh. I like the blue you got, but (IMO) it would be even sicker if you could white. Whats it called, "Championship White" I think. I kind of wish my GT-S was white now so I could get some white wheels to match, but oh well, thats life I guess.
