He was initially flaming another member. When his thread was locked he continued with derogatory remarks in which he was warned through PM. He ignored the warning and decided to flood several of the forums.

He has been banned for breaking several rules, im sure if you need to get a hold of him you have his email.

I will say this though. Moderators should do what they are supposed to....moderate. They should not be allowed to ban. If they feel they a member should be banned, then they should bring the issue and all the details to Derek. Only he should be allowed to ban a member.

I hate to say it buddy, but I doubt it. This isn't a democracy, it's a Derekocracy. We are subject to his rule, and the power vested in the mods by the Modmighty himself.

I agree with you tho...I believe only D or his fewly chosen Senior Mods should be allowed to ban. The others should merely be able to suggest. But again, read my first sentences. I conform to it because I like the site and get tons of useful and funny information from here. I've rarely criticised a mod, even if they deserve it. I beleive they are ppl just like you and me and should be willing to take criticism just the same, but I won't be the one to change things. I don't have the power to change anything and a peon like me has no influence to even get the ball rolling. So, I just grin and bear it and, hopefully, they will let AF apologize if he wishes and be re-instated just like others who have been banned, apologized, and are now back.

Haha, if you only knew. Us moderators have a banning forum. None of us in and of themselves may ban a member. We bring up the issue in the banning forum and then if enough of us agree we ban the member. If something is urgent then we ban and if someone does not agree then they un-bad. In this case Derek agreed. He has the final word in each case.
