A beautiful day for rice

Okay, first off, this morning I was at the performance shop I go to when I guy pulls up in his Cougar (appeared as though he just bought it). He then comes inside and tells them that he wants a header for his car. The guy who was helping him asked him if he already had an intake and exhaust. The guy replied, no, what will that do for me? Anyways, this guy keeps talking, acting like he knows all about cars when it's apparent that he doesn't know sh@#! Then he said something that almost made me **** my pants. "Can you guys put NOS on my car?" I think if it's possible, that guy was actually dumber by the time he left.

My second story concerns a 7thgen civic. After I left the shop, I was going to get something to eat, and I see a 7thgen civic with a body kit and dual exhaust. So I thought, until I got a closer look. This moron had put an exhaust tip on his stock exhaust, then rigged up another exhaust tip on the other side to make it look like the car had dual exhaust. There was no pipe even connected to the other exhaust tip. Man, I wish I had a picture.

In the early 90's when I was doing the 5.0 thing, we would often dump our exhaust under the car. So you would have a pair of long headers a short H pipe then 2 mufflers dumping just behind the driver's seat. The only problem was that if you were stuck in traffic, it would start to smell inside the car Who really cared how big your exhaust pipe was, it was all about go. Alas, those days are gone. Now people are putting on fake exhaust tips
