My Civic Ex Vs. Friends Sentra GXE
both cars are stock motor wise here's the factory spec rundown
2002 Civic Ex 5 speed
Motor: 1.7 liter SOHC
Horse Power: 127 hp @ 6300rpm
Torque: 114lb.ft @ 4800rpm
Curb Weight: 2,555 (not factoring driver and other passanger)
Sentra GXE Auto
Motor: 1.8 liter DOHC
Horse Power: 126 hp @ 6,000 rpm
Torque: 129 lb-ft of torque @ 2,400 rpm
Curb Weight: 2,627 (not factoring driver, no passanger)
Outcome: From first through second we were pretty much neck and neck. As soon as i hit third i started pullin on him. went up to 90 or so and threw on the flashers, beat him by about 2 or 3 car lengths. Gotta say it was a fun race, and now i really wanna race a manual to see if i can win. I was surprised how quick Sentras are, i guess its all that low end torque they got.
Just figured id post my first real kill.

Rep Power: 0 Beware of the manual GXE's they can run low to mid 16 with a decently good driver, and with some mods like ihe you can have them to run mid to high 15's but stock for stock its drivers race unless he got an auto like you said...
