Oh yeah, good point. We all know that jagged glass from the windshield and road rash from the asphalt can't do that I guess it's gonna have to take you to get thrown 40 ft outa the car before you realize that seatbelts/bags are put there for a reason and they're actually a GOOD idea

I remember reading this in an Import Tuner. One of the writers there was driving a Ford Focus show car a got into a head-on. The car only had 1 airbag and that was the passenger side one, as for the driver side, the car had a race steering wheel installed. He of course wasn't wearing a seatbelt and the only thing that kept him going through the windshield and getting seriously injured was the 1 airbag left. Interesting how he commented that it's not worth jepordizing your life by removing your airbags and messing with your safety equipment in order to install race equipment(belts, race seats, racing steering wheels) and this guy works for Import Tuner. Hmm, maybe he wised up after the accident?
