I met this kid the other day with a black 95 DX automatic w/intake and a Tach (auto w/tach??). He's a cool guy and all, but he drives like his car is all fast and mighty dropping it to 2nd gear, redlining it like his tach goes to 9000rpm (i think his car is gonna break down soon if he keeps doing that), neutral dropping, etc. Do you guys think I can take this guy? I know i only have a LX auto w/injen sri and a non-cat exhaust.

well the tach isn't gonna make him go faster......
95 dx auto.....haha......yea, i'm sure you can.........
95 EX I believe 5speed runs 16.8 in the 1/4.
the only way to find out is to try...........
and 9,000rpms..............I'd have to see it to beleive it.........

You shouldn't even be asking yo, it's an auto you can outtake him gear to gear so you'll win.....But the 5th Gen's do have 9,000 rpm redline's, i'd worry if it were a stick, I wonder why that's so???

You should be able to take him, but it will probably pretty close all the way
