ATTN: ANYONE WITH RACING SEATS AND WHEEL

hi, i was wondering if i could get a diy from you guys for installing racing seats using the factory brackets or any other ways you guys did it,

also, if you could tell me how to install my racing steering wheel by momo that would be great, i already got the adapter hub, oh and i need a how to on taking the old steering wheel out, i got the airbags and shizzle so lol, this sounds like it may take a while, thanks alot guys

oh and for all you older grumpy members....yes i used a search, and i looked trhough every diy on the diy page, nothing abouyt seats or wheels.....and i am not a newb, i have had like 3 diff names and i keep forgetting them, so i have to make a new one, ive been with this site since the begininng and just traded my 2k1 for a new 2k2 last week......

if the wheel is anything like the 96-00 Civic, there should be two plastic pieces on the left and right side of the steering wheel, they pop off. You will then need a TORX bit screwdriver(star) to remove the screws. HOWEVER before you start remove the negative terminal on ur battery and wait 10 mins, then push ur brake...that way ur airbag dosnt blow in your face. After that basically its all unscrewing, then using a huge bit (I think its either 18 or 19mm) to get the wheel off...then replace. You will need to rewire your horn as well.

Thats basically all there is to it. Seats are unbolt and bolt the new seats in.

Also pleze stop whoring it up- its not a good thing when the whole page is all your name.

LOL damn ya know ever since i joined this site i really didnt car for neomagus because sometimes his posts come off as being arrogant (SP?) but that last comment and the pick of his screen just totally redeemed him self in my book that sh it was hilarious i havent seen an owning that good for a while ......... keep up the good work bro

k ill remember that man sorry didnt know it pissed you people off that much.....anyways, my seats arent unbolt and bolt back on, my question was for those who got seats like mine, maybe NEX or whatnot......thanks anyways

ill try to keep my "whoring" to a minimum

When I had my racing seats in my 6th gen I removed the sliders from the stock seats and welded them on to the racing seats. Maybe not the best way, but it worked and it was cost effective.
