just finished...

i just finished clearin my headlights. well actually i finished a coupla hours ago. looks nice.....but i got some black goo on the chrome, well technically it wasn't me that did it but my friend that was helping me.....that ish doesn't come off for nothing!!! but at least its in a place where you can't really see it unless you get really close.....i just hope that i put enough sealant on it so it won't leak. once i get my rims next week, my car is finished for now!!!! yay!!!!! just wanted to share my joy with you guys....

I had the same problem with the goo when I was clearing my lights. I found out that you can just take a bigger piece of the glue and put it on top of the little spot and rip it off, leaves it clean.

how about, in before this fool is gonged for saying in before the lock

Anyways, when I cleared mine, I got a bit of black on the chrome too, but it wasnt noticeable. I didnt use any extra sealent tho, worked fine.

yeah, the black goo was on the part of the chrome that fits in the bend of the headlight. so its not noticeable. but the lights look good, and i have no fog or condensation in them. all i need now is for my rims to come in and then the pictures start rollin in!!!

Nail polish remover works well, I had some on mine too...but since you already sealed em, no sense in re-opening them...those lights get mad hot anyways, so it may just burn off..
