Friend finally got his 2k1 back from the shop...
My friend got his 2k1 back from the shop with a custom paint job...we sorta had a little meet me and my other friend as well.. these guys will be at the mid atlantic meet w/ me, the pictures from my crappy camera dont do the job justice. Hes going to have two bottles of Nitrous and custom turbo job from Dynamic which is almost finished...so anyone who has questions may want to think them up for the meet [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

pretty sure its not that color...the camera dosnt pick up the crazy tricks the light and sparkles do to it...its a mix of 3 different paints.

told me the paint ran him a little over 2 grand, and his engine, trunk, and jambs are NOT painted, however his interior pieces were (ie vents dash etc)

2 grand for three different layers of paint?? where did he go maaco? thats extremely cheap for a custom pain job of that calibur.

There is a shop called Englands auto body in Harrisburg PA that did it for him, and does a lot of the local car clubs cars.

alright, i was knocking the job or anything like that, it was just a shock to me to see it done for so cheap, here in connecticut, the cheapest you can find something like that is about $4500

paint looks nice, but IMO its not so nice when you open your hood or trunk and its not painted...like its one thing even for the hood and trunk not to be painted but the fuc*en' door jambs? like come on, that looks so cheap, that would just bother me so much, like hood and trunk i can look past, but not the door jambs,
wat color was it before?

original paint was rally red...car was repainted because some little kid keyed his entire car and insurance paid for it.

thats pretty cool. not the fact that he had to repaint the entire car, but at least insurance paid for it and he got to choose what color he wanted to get. Im likin the paint job but I would spend my money on other things first.

Nice Awesome Paint Job.

I'm sure it is very impressive in person.

I feel the stock tails would be a better match, and while the altezzas look decent, I think it would look cleaner with the stockies.

Also, not really feeling the body kit with that color. Oh well, a bad-*** ride either way.
