Yup that's right. I was drivin' down the freeway and out of nowhere a giant rock comes flying at me and makes a big crack sound. I almost crapped my pants, but when i got out to see what happened, a rock flew up, skimmed across my hood (scratching it) and cracked my whole window. I was sooooooo mad.

Was it kicked up by a truck or sumthin? If so, I hope you got thew company's name to call them.. I've known people to call the company and complain and they (the company) would pay for a replacement.

Deja vu, dude. Same thing happened to me last year. My car wasn't even 4 months old then [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]
I knew a rock hit the windshield (nothing better to wake you up in the morning, scared the crap outta me) on my way to work, but I forgot about it when I arrived. I just figured I was lucky and didn't see anything wrong while driving. That same evening I was talking about it when we went out to see where it'd hit. Turned out to be on the passenger side, right near the edge in the black part. It'd already started to crack, and after 2 mre days there was like an 8 inch crack through the whole windshield. The dealer told me it was only the top layer and the crack hadn't gone all the way through.

eesh! that sucks. similar thing happened to me awhile back. rock got flung up and caught my left fender, and proceeded to travel along the fender, leaving behind a scratch about 4 inches long. it was messed up, why couldnt it have just hit and bounced off? but no, it had to magnetize itself to my car and cause further damage...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] rocks

well think about it this way atleast it didnt go all the way and hit you on someone else or rip the in side so have a [IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG] and try to get it fixed. sucks to hear that happened

Wow that is horrible my whole windshield got cracked and I lost my emblem that I had across my windshield on my last civic. But oh well it was getting cracked and I wanted something new. Sorry to hear about that though

now my mom's trying to tell me that I can't get it fixed by insurance because it will make the insurance go up. I got jipped. It's embarassing to drive a nice *** car around with nothing wrong with it and then all of a sudden there's a big ghetto crack through the windshield.
