well went to the track last night to take a run. the times were boo, but i dont care, i had a really good time.
It was my first time, and I had a terriable launch (I was nurvous), and I couldnt tell if I hit the quater mile yet, so I may have slowed down. oh well doesnt matter, now that i know what I am doing when I do it, I will improve my times alot. But best of all, I had a good time doing it and that is all that matters Psst, the gran national that was next to me owned me....he was 11 sec's

Is your car a stick or auto? Just curious...
By the way, it doesn't matter if you ran 20s, if you had fun doing it...who cares? Fun is the keyword when it comes to racing...at least in my book it is...

Right on, Sucks about the times, but hey...practice makes perfect, or at least closer to perfect.....
There's a track by my house....they only run 1/8's though.....I want the 1/4......I might try it sometime...
How many people were there when you did it???.....
(at my track theres about 1,000-2,000 people watching, I don't want that).......
Peace..Trevor

Hehehe its funny, while I am waiting to race, i had to take the biggest ****, but I couldnt leave cause I cant lock the doors with out the alarm being on. and being near alot of loud muscle cars, i would look like a idiot with the alarm going off. But just before I was about to **** in a coke bottle in the car, I spotted a sani can is the distance. So i rolled the windows up, darted for the can, and was peeking at my car from the little vents the whole time. got back to the car just in time to get ready to race
btw i have some thick tread snow tires on stock 14's that i use during the winter.....if i use those for the front tires and let some air out, think they will be better grip then my toyo's? I was just thinking of this because they are a smaller rim and spin faster, and some other people looked like they were doing the same thing.

sorry bud gonna have to raise that upon the time slip you just provided...
reason you ask? there is no way you trapped 97 mph in a stock civic ex. And since you didn/t fix the typo I know your lying. Ok lemme help you out here. You 60ft sucks. 2.4 is terrible. You need to shoot for 2.1 at worst 2.2. Your 1/8 time is slow!!!!! I mean like 16.5 in the 1/4 slow and your mph in the 1/8 backs up that theory. Now there is no way you gain 30mphs from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Vtec is cool but not that cool
and your 1/4 time to your trap speed is all worng. Come back when you get a real slip, until then leave the G-tech at home. And if you still say its true, only way is track messed up their times. that time slip is all wrong
