Civic vs. Chrysler Town and Country

Alright, here's the story

Last night I had just gotten off of school (about 10:00 pm), and I was going over to my girlfriend's house. I had the windows down, the subs blastin', and I was just feeling great. I pull up to a stop light, and lo' and behold a Chrysler Town and Country MINIVAN pulls up next to me. I didn't think anything of it because I'm just feeling great to be out of school, and I was trying to fool around with a neon light I was borrowing from a friend. N-E-WAY, the light turns green and I start to go, then the person in the T&C speeds up a little bit. Again, I didn't think anything of it, but I punched it just a little bit harder. Then I hear the T&C downshift and start to scream like crazy (I could tell it was the V6), I was like "What the..." as I pushed it all the way. What REALLY pissed me off was that by the time I had really punched it I was about one car length behind him , so the entire time I was stuck one car length behind him ! The driver of the T&C kept it up until about 60 mph, (which is about the speed that my car takes off. For some reason my car shoots forward from 55-85mph...no complaints here VTEC POWER!!!) Then he slammed on his brakes, merged into the lane behind me, and exited. I flashed my brake lights to let him know it was all in good fun, and he flashed his headlights to say the same (I hope). Anyway, afterwards I was feeling kind of good because I kept up with a V6 . But I felt like crap because I lost to a MINIVAN .

MY PRIDE

I can't wait until I get my nitrous kit, intake, and exhaust .

MINIVANS OF THE D.C. METRO AREA...FEAR MY CIVIC!!!!!!

BTW, my civic coupe is all stock right now except for 2 12" subs in the back, Clarion Proaudio headunit, 20% tint all around, my little blue neon light, my Hello Kitty hanging on my mirror, and DIY crappy OEM mudflap removal. I think the removal of the mudflaps gave me at least a 300hp boost at the wheels, (or at least BY THE WHEELS, since they're not really...nevermind )

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
lol, those minivans are hella slow. You have nothing to be proud of. And the Town and Country is the heaviest of them all, my parents have one with the V6 3.8L.

You should be ashamed to even mention this.

I never said anything about being proud of it. Losing to a minivan is a tragic experience that should never be experienced, and has caused me to run and cry on my pillow once every hour ever since it happened .

J/K I know the T&C is slow, it only ran the quarter mile .6sec faster than a stock Civic EX, (which is my car). My only dissapointment is that I didn't see it coming. I only punched it after he had passed me. 1 car length ahead would have been so much better than one car length behind . Oh well, ALL MINIVANS SHALL PAY FOR THIS HEINOUS CRIME :l!!!

MINIVANS: You may take my pride, but you will never take my...uhhh...ummm...subs?

ok, i admit it. I've lost to a minivan too. Got beat down by a Ford windstar. Same situation, its the torque that kills you. If they are on the gas first then they will beat you.

*bows head in shame*

sniff, sniff.

Hehe. Don't feel bad, a civic is an economy vehicle as well and never meant to blow anyone away . Still sounded fun! I won't even mention the time I was at the track and was racing a hatchback Civic in a friend's Integra (btw, thank you for letting me experience the joys of being on a racetrack!)...bah...I guess I'll mention it. Because the track had lots of turns, we were pretty limited on our speed, but once the straighter portions of the track came up and we punched it, we were side-by-side approaching 100 mph. This really great rush was soon depleted when a Trans Am roared past us at a mind-boggling rate, lol. I quickly learned why a lot of people on some of those Speedvision races get lapped so much; you lose a lot of will to go on once someone blows by you like that. At that point, it seems more like a chore to finish the race.

Did you win or lose?

Those V6 Accords are nice . The dealer gave me a 2-door V6 with leather for a week while my Civic was being fixed. I had fun . (My dad was looking to buy an Accord at the time, so I think they gave me the V6 to try and get my dad to buy it. But my dad did some research and got a 2002 VW GTI 1.8T instead.) Turbo is good for u !

And yes I know what I'm talking about,to those who think I don't.....

1 out of 10 Civic's that come from the factory has a strong motor(just like a runt out of the litter)theirs also the bad one(and I feel sorry for the guy/girl that has it.......
I got my 2k2 Civic in late march with 4 miles on it. I couldn't stand it during the break in period, but like alot of you out there(don't lie either)I got on it a few times, naw more like ever time someone reved. I was slower then s%$#,but now 4 1/2 months later,I have a SOHC monster.
Me and the guys on my team wondered why I seemed fast, the first real race I ran was against a 2k1 Civic with DC headers AEM intake Motech exhaust system and street radial drag tires(Nitto 555's)
He jump me 2 cars off the launch but when I hit high 2nd and then into 3rd,I walk from him by 3 cars
yeah yeah I know you guys are saying I'm full of it,but you know what,it's not only the car,it's 70%driver(remember I'm bone stock)
Just last friday was the real test,I went with a bunch of buddy's to Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield Ca and ran a 15.7 with a .545 r/t thats GSR territory.......like I said you probably dont believe, but you guys always could come to Fresno,Ca. and find out

I can't double clutch, for I have no clutch .

Believe me, if I had a clutch I would have used it, but I don't .

Oh well, it's just my chillin' car anyway.
