exhaust question...
I am a newbie, and I was wondering how do you go about choosing an exhaust. My car is 100% stock, how do I get a sound, must I get an intake and all tha other stuff, of can I just get an exhaust or muffler or whatever makes that phat sound?
I would recommend getting an intake along with the exhaust. The intake helps you to get more and cooler air in, and the exhaust is what helps to get the air out. The intake will probably be the cheapest way to go in order to increase performance, although it won't be much. You will also get a better sound with the intake. I've got an Injen SRI on my car and it sounds good. I don't like a really loud annoying exhaust, so I went with the Type X Racing exhaust, has a nice deep sound. I'm sure other people will have plenty of recommendations for you. Good Luck with the mods.

I would recommend keeping your car stock and just taking off the resonator and takign your exhaust off after the cat. =)[hr]

if you were to take off your exhaust after the cat there would be no point to taking off the resonator....then again why the hell would you want to take off your exhaust after the cat anyway
