Rep Power: 0 WHYYYY??? NOOOO! There have been so many problems with that car! Why do that??? The price may be on target now, but you might be in for it down the road in the not too distant future!

Rep Power: 0 NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Anything but a frickin' FUCUS!!! Haven't you been watching the news lately? There's been more coverage on the Ford Pucus's problems than the frickin' Pinto or Gremlin! Don't do it! If you value your LIFE, buy a KIA over a frickin' Fucus! Oh, the HUMANITY!!!!! Shame on you! Rep Power: 0 Look, I grew up with Fords, and to this day my grandfather will drive nothing else. But the Focus specifically is the subject of SEVERAL current investigations as to quality, reliability, and safety. It's been on the news nonstop lately. Do an internet search or something, you'll see what we're talking about. I'd drive a thunderbird or an expedition, but I wouldn't touch a focus with the hand that rocks the cradle.

Rep Power: 0 It's important to buy what you want, but it's more important to buy informed...
The newer focuses still have quite a few recalls done on them and service bulletins.
There's nothing wrong with buying a cheeper used car...better a used car with a tride and true history than a new one with a spotty record...

Rep Power: 295 the Focus isn't that bad. The trunk is nice and roomy. My friend, Andrea and I fit in there quite comfortably...

Rep Power: 0 HX has a VTEC engine in it, but it's geared differently - it's mainly a fuel miser...If you want a light body for racing and mods, go with a hatch (DX or CX) - if you want the standard-fare car, go with the EX (Still responds to mods well). LX is kind of in the middle, but doesn't have a DOHC engine....if you find an Si for a good price, snag it! If you're really into sleepers and speed, get a 5th gen with an excellent body, and swap out the engine...so many options when you go to the older gens of Civics...

Rep Power: 0 sorry about your accord.
don't buy the hx from the 6th gen they have bad transmissions problems. and when the tranny does go out .parts are a pain to locate for an hx transmission.
