I like the look of a 7th gen civic better than the previous generations.
But the engine they gave us sucks!

i like our civic..when you look at it from the side, it is so nice...but i liek the last gen civic suspension setup
also i like the idea of previous gen that you DON'T have to remove the front bumper to change grill or headlights...etc

I'm tickled pink with my 7th Gen Civ but 6th Gen and before were pretty darn decent as well! Jodie

MAN... I hear you on that..... It is a pain in the a$$ to take off the bumper to change a friggen light. I've done it enough that I am used to it, but I still get annoyed at the thought.

If the 7th gen had the same double-wishbone suspension as the 6th gen, on all 4 corners, it would have been perfect then. I think the suspension is the weakest part about the 7th gen.

I think that, other than the fact that I wish they would've left some frickin room in the engine bay for mods, this is an EXCELLENT car. Sure the suspension needs help, but the 6th gen wasn't perfect either.

Yes you do, at least in the 6th gens - you can take off the top grille without removing the bumper, but it would be a real pain in the neck to reach behind the frame and find the screws...and to take out the front headlight itself, you do need to remove the bumper - if you want to change the turn signal lamps, you can push back the wheelwell guard to do it, but it's a pain as well...as for the rear lights, 6th gens just pull out and you don't have to play with that bracket underneath the car - but all in all, I like my 6th gen!

I had a 97 HX, and liked it except for the CVT. I love my new ex. So far, the only thing I would change is the size of the glove box!

If the 7th gen's had the double wishbone suspension and the flexibility of the 6th gen engine, it'd be bitchin'. All in all I'd still lean in favor of a 99-00 Civic.

Basically I want a 6th gen with a 7th gen interior.

Body style is a toss-up for me. 7th gen's look good, but I think the 6th gen looks more agressive and sporty.

i absolutely love my 7th generation civic, wouldn't trade it for any other generations... sure it lacks the suspension and engine potential of previous generations, but as more companies make products for it will be good or even better than the other gen's....it can only get better

before i bought my 01 civic, i used to have a 93 civic hatchback and that was the best looking civic i think...nice and sporty and very light but the rust was the common problem and the car was getting old so time to sell it and start something new.

i like my 7th gen civic, but i think the best civic would always be the 92-95 gen. the projector headlights look the best on that model, and there's so much things u can do with them plus they're not boxy-lookin.. but oh well, thats just my opinion. now that i have the latest civic, might as well keep up with the street trends

I love the look of my 02 EX coupe in and out. The main problem I have is the creaks and rattles that you sometimes hear. Also, when you pop the hood it looks like there is no way in he!! you'll fit anything else in the compartment. Engine could be a bit stronger to but I can live with all that. the rest of the car is cool.
