I know the feeling of totalling a brand new car. Same exact car, btw. It had 757 mi. on it. So sad. Thank God I had good insurance and they hooked me up. Glad to hear that your girl is ok. If it is totalled, are you just going to get another one? Maybe something a little faster? what? Thought about it at all?

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU DO NOT LET WOMEN DRIVE CARS.
SORRY IF THAT SOUNDS SEXIST, BUT I REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT ANYMORE.
I LET MY GF DRIVE MY OLD EXPLORER AND SHE SLAMMED INTO THE BACK OF MY CIVIC, F'D THE BACK UP ROYALLY......AND THE KICKER?? WELL, BOTH CARS ARE MINE, BOTH INSURED BY ME....SO I HAD TO DEAL WITH THE FACT THAT BOTH OF MY CARS GOT F'D UP AND IT KILLED MY INSURANCE RATES.

DON'T LET WOMEN DRIVE, PERIOD.

dannyk, what are you talking about? men are the worse drivers by far. i've seen about a 10:1 ratio of male:female driver accidents, especially people between the ages of 16 and 25.

insan, i'm glad that your girlfriend wasn't injured but the moral of the story: NEVER let anyone else drive your car... unless, of course, you don't like you car all that well. shooooot, i don't even let my parents drive that piece and they paid for it! Sorry to hear about you ride but at least your other ride (your girlfriend) is alright. But whoever said that guys were worse drivers is wrong in my opinion. From what I have seen in my lifetime, females are by far the worse of the two genders.

Women statistically get into more accidents than men, though they are usually fender benders and minor damage (<$1000). Guy tend to get into worse accidents and far more deadly accidents than women. That is why our insurance rate is higher

I'm guessing that it hit an SUV... the front seems wedged in and down. Ouch, my condolences
