Check out my latest mod!!!! Does anyone else have this??!!??

Well, here it is! A 2002 Civic Coupe gas cap on my 2001 Civic Sedan. Arrrggghhhh!!!! I left mine on my trunk and drove off from the gas station after the drags Friday night. My dealer was nice enough to give me one off a Coupe on the showroom floor Saturday morning. Why aren't these things attached???? Anybody else loose theirs? This is my second time driving off without it. Luckily the first time I whipped around and grabbed it off the road. $24 down the toilet. Hate that. I was going to post a picture of it, but I'm having trouble uploading the picture. I get an error message. Anyone else having this trouble?

I forgot to close the gas cap door (or whatever it's called) once, but I never forgot the entire gas cap. The gas cap holder kinda helps I guess, but I think it gets in the way more than you'de want it to when filling up. I don't have one since I have a 2001, but I imagined what it'de be like when filling up one day. Anyway, maybe a gas cap on a rope type thing is the solution?

My father's 2k2 GMC Yukon Denali has the gas cap on like a plastic string. When you unscrew the gas cap, you kinda rig the line over a hook. Its really a nice system and its impossible to lose the gas cap...

Grey: why am I having trouble uploading pictures? I know there is a size limit to each pic, but this one is under that. Is there any size limit to your total uploads? What's up? Thanks.

Gas cap holder only 5 bucks.. but it still might do any good.. cause the guy just slams the gas door shut.. without thinking of the cap..so, even withthe gas cap holder he'll still forget to cap it... but at least it'll still be around

FamilyMan: I'm having trouble as well. I mentioned this to Derek. He's working on it. Maybe that's it though, the total size of your pictures. Try deleting some you don't need and try again. I'll do that too when I get a chance. If that's not the problem then PM Derek and let him know that the problem still persists.

Yeah I can't say I have ever forgot my gas cap at the station, but yeah most of the vehicles today do come with the plastic string attached to them. But up in Oregon you don't have to worry about putting the gas cap back on they have the full service which I hate but whatever looking to join a card lock soon so I can pump my own gas just hate some punk kid doing my gas and spilling gas down the side or dripping gas on my paint. But yeah I would probably never even use that gas cap holder even if I had it

I've been driving for 6 years now and never for forgot to but it on i even make it click 3 times to make sure its on for sure. The gas cap holder is great until it repeatedly hits your back fender and straches it like it does on my moms Frontier.

Yes, had to buy the grill and the base, plus new emblem & screws (they are shorter) etc. Well worth the look I feel.
